Cruise Control Not Working

I thought I would put this out there and see if anyone knows of any reasons why my Cruise Control wouldn't work. It's on my 02 plat Zafira GSI, Z20 LET engine. We did a pedal test and the only thing that came up was that the stalk was faulty. We have changed that but it still isn't working. The fuses are all fine and we aren't sure what the next step would be to try and remedy this?

Any ideas?

Check the pedal switches

Friend had same problem with his vixer , would alter speed , not good when leading a convoy lol

turned out to be clutch switch , fitted new one , problem resolved
