bumpity bump
Hi, This ones aimed for Pecky ideally
Long story short, I fitted a set of folding mirrors ages ago to my car, changed the DDM and PDM to correct ones programmed and tested ok.
Fitted another set to someone else car a year later with the DDM and PDM they supplied, couldnt get comfort close to work on it. Plugged in my DDM and windows and mirrors went up/down in/out without a problem. Checked between the two modules and noticed his one didnt have 'Deadlock function' available, so I deactivated mine to simulate the problem. Great... Replicated the fault.... Re-enabled the deadlocking and now mine dont go up/down on comfort settings
Bought the same module as mine for his car, programmed it all in with vaux-com (legit from Ilexa) and same problem with comfort close...
Even had a vauxhall tech Andy L uses on Vectra-c to look, he spent an hour and couldnt figure it.... So no joy with tech2 or vauxcom...
In the back of my mind is something nagging me about them doing away with this feature on an update of tech2.... Do you recall a change in tech2 programming which would explain this... Only thing I can think of is to get tech2 (on order) and put v90/v91 firmware on it and try.
Any input you have would be great... Been struggling with this one on and off for about a year.
cheers
Unfortunately, I've done very little on the vectra as most of my work is on Astras.
Only thought, it isn't something simple like re-programming the volatile memories is it. On the Astra, you fully lower and lift the window 3-4 times off the switch. this then re-sets it.

thanks for the input pecky, only wish it was something that basic
Just to update this, it turns out that Vauxcom has caused this issue when programming the folding mirrors, has done it to 2 DDM's (ident JN) plus also had news of another guy using opcom and exactly the same thing happened to him too. Had to program his new JN module via tech2 for him.
So beware, do not program folding mirrors with opcom/vauxcom Derek from ilexa is aware of this and looking into it with stevecrk during september.
Thanks for the update, opcom/vauxcom does have the odd bug so this would make sense.
It's surprising how often people shout you down for saying their 2 year old pirate opcom causes issues, when the full one still has the odd bug. At least we get support and the updates though.
Stevecrk will sort it out i'm sure.

so is there a solution how to fix Comfort Close if Vauxcom / OpCom was used before ? I'm also having problem with Comfort Close via key fob. I tried almost everything already but no luck.
Cheers,
Gasper
was your issue caused by opcom/vauxcom and you have powerfolding mirrors?
Yes I used Opcom to program DDM module, hence comfort open was not working after drivers doors was replaced. After programing was done comfort open works, but comfort open does not work via key fob. Do I need to program something or I need new DDM ? I don't have folding mirrors.
what are the idents of the door modules
