smd's are a pain from what iv heard but good luck and if you decide to buy a lappy from pcworld/currys i can get you 10% discount
Just fitted blue LEDs to my passenger window switch and steering wheel controls. Got them from crazeyleds. What a pain in the ares. Had to reprofile my soldering iron to get a finer tip, once that was done it made it easier. Gone for the classic blue. Looks good and works. Gairo said it was hard job. Anyway only another 50 ish I think to go. Wish me luck guys. Going to start a propper progress thread on my H when I get a new computer. Watch this space. Thanks people!!

Tempted to do my clocks white but I would probably screw it up
Told you it was a pain, wait until you open up the BID
ps: the heater controls have PLCC6's inside, they're fun
i took a while to do mine, but my soldering skills benefitted from it massively. i was a n00b before i started, i can do it mostly now lol
