      Great looking car mate.

Does it chuck out a load of smoke when you boot it? I've had a T8 style map on my 1.9cdti, had the EGR mapped out and I've blanked it off completely, when I boot it everything in my rear view mirror suddenly becomes very dark

Erm in sport (200bhp) it's a bit smokey. But running it normally nah it's pretty clean, might blank mine off and get it mapped out tbh, being as I had a new inlet manifold

I had my EGR mapped out 2 months, can't tell any difference when driving it, no EML and it flew through the MOT last month. So I would 100% recommend it, need to look after that new manifold.

When you say mapped out do you mean someone with tech 2 switched it off? And yeah it needs it really

Nah mate, can't be done with Tech 2, it has to be written out of the ECU as far as I know (someone else maybe able to shed more light on the exact procedure) .....It was part of the remapping process that I had done by Nic from Tuned 'n' Styled. He visited me whilst I was at work and sorted it all out for me.

It was £200 all in. That included the switchable map 170bhp normal, 210bhp in sports, the EGR deletion and Nic's travelling costs (he is based in Nottingham, he came to Brum on a Friday to do the work). I'm sure it'd be cheaper just for the EGR delete.
