Dash squeaks are a pain in the rear mate. Best repair I found is the volume knob on the radio!!!! Lol
Fella's,
A dashboard squeak has somehow developed and its starting to bug me, It's coming from around the centre display screen and if I press firmly on certain areas it does stop momentarily. Any ideas on how to fix it?
If anybody is good with this sort of thing, knows how to take the screen out etc. I'd appreciate your help and there would be something in it for your time!

Need it fixing as it's getting annoying now, driving everywhere with the volume up is getting tiring too haha. The squeak goes when I push up the top lip of the dashboard where it connects to the plastic screen surround. :/
Really want it sorted
Anymore ideas?
Just been out in it, and I think you're right! When I push down on the front dash speaker it stops. So for some reason it's creaking/squeaking.
Have you tried to fix yours yet? Does the cover just pull off?
May stick some bluetac under the edges to give it a tighter seal...
Found silicon oil good for squeaky trims as it will not dry out so easy. Use sparingly though
How about good old Vaseline, smear that around under the speaker cover that should sort it
Thought you got the wrong end of the stick then hahaha. No pun intended lol
Hahahahaha.
I've had the top cover off, and it appears there's another foam cover to stop dirt getting onto the speaker. When I press on the screw that's holding the foam cover down, the squeak stops. So it seems as though its a 'Plastic on Plastic' noise, I'll try loosening and tightening the screw tomorrow as it may be too tight!
If all else fails I'll lube it up as suggested by you horny buggers...
