    3 door grill

    What stops a 3 door grill fitting a 5 door???

    In all seriousness, i think it's the bumper. I could be wrong though.

    From comparing mine and adz t8 the 3 door bumper is more pointed in the middle were as the 5 door is more flat

    you can fit a 3 door to a facelift 5
    just requires cutting sum lugs from what iv heard

    Correct, it will fit but there are issues with fitting...

    1. the 3 door grille is more slanted than a 5 door grille
    2. the fixing positions are different on the slam panel
    3. the washer bottle cover becomes slightly restricted
    4. you'll need to cut or elongate the fixing holes in a 5 door bumper to accept a 3 door grille

    This is where a 3 door grille sits on a 5 door bumper once modified to fit...



    This is the drivers side mounting lug re-drilled to allow the extra depth of the 3 door grille...



    This is the middle mounting lug re-drilled...



    This is the passenger side mounting lug re-drilled...



    This is the washer bottle cap, slightly restricted but still accessible...



    Looking down on the grille and bumper centre points, its quite a ways forward but still looks alright when fitted...

    How'd of thought they would be different , saying that my vxr grill is on the wifes car and the lugs fitted the opposite way to hers , right beatch to remove then when i went to do mine it was other way round
