It just dumps unmetered air to atmosphere instead of recirculating it

Plus it's mainly for the noise, my ssqv is fairly loud

Not unless you feel like getting it mapped in, look at a bailey dv26 twin piston or a Collins, I had the bailey on mine before the ssqv and it sounded nice but I wanted mine to dump really loud

Nick has a bailey he may part with

Got a Bailey dump valve on mine. Got a good sound to it. Got a Courtney hose for it to. Cost £56 for the hose. You have to blank off the standard valve or you will find ecu lamp on and loss of boost with a boost pressure trouble code popping up. Courtney recommended a twin piston valve. Take the vacuum pipe from the fuel pressure side regulator. T into that vacuum pipe. Works well on mine and sounds good.

It's a pain in the arris you have to remove the intake on the turbo. Behind this there is a plate with three bolts in it. With this removed you will find a one pence will fit in the hole. Refit the dv and intake pipe and away you go. It's a pain. When you come to do it Pm your number and I will go through it more in detail.
