I had a smiliar issue, a peice of plastic was broke inside But was years ago so can't remember how to get the panel off
Interior has seemed to have developed a fair few rattles of recent, the kind where you hear it, but can never track it down.
Anyway, I have found one thing which I know for sure is the source of one of the rattles, its the large section of the roof console "behind" the front interior light/alarm sensor section, you know the massive pointless waste of space.
This bit circled in red, sorry for poor picture, only one I have:
I know this is the problem, as when the rattle starts, if you push and hold the panel it stops!
Question is, how is this large blank waste of space piece of panel removed?
Hoping to remove it and line as much as possible with sticky backed foam to stop it rattling against the roof section its covering!
Any help greatly appreciated.

Not 100% sure but I think it just pops out and held in by clips
pull it off.. then put some sticky pads above n replace cover,,-- pressure will hopefully stop rattle.. (assuming nothing is broken when u remove it)
Pull it carefully
Isn't that where a factory flip down glasses holder goes?
That's where mine is, but I know the vec c has an optional pop down glasses holder there too, might be a high spec Astra h that has it too?
