Lumpy Idle

Hi Lads and lassess
Need some help and info. The bus is ticking over lumpy but not all the time I have a new EGR to go on, but looking for any further advice

Could be a few things Rob, air flow meter, EGR, an injector blocked or maybe a misfire ???

Chris I'm hoping it is the egr as it is intermittent and hasn't been cleaned in 2 years so fingers crossed it runs fine no loss of power just poor mpg at the minute.

P.S how are you keeping hope all is well

I'm not too bad thanks mate, sounds like it could well be the EGR then and I would also look into cleaning the boost sensor too

Thats good the hear that you are ok and yeah as you know them buses have no room under there so leaving it to a garage to do so will ask them to clean the boost sensor as well see how that goes thanks for the advice

Yeah Paul theres no room so I let someone else have the fun just hope new egr sorts it

Yeah will do Chris EGR not getting done until Friday night now so will let you know, I'm also thinking of getting the battery checked as well as I think it is the original one and it will be 7 year old now

update EGR replaced and boost sensor cleaned still the same, battery all the same any more advice
