Mine are 4300k mate so come and have a look
Trying to decide on a hid colour. Going with h7r bulbs and 35w. Just not decided on colour. Does anyone have one of the above kits with pics to help me choose. I currently have halogens rated 4350k but not sure how different in colour they are. Is 5000k too white? I know in terms of brightness 4300k is brightest but not going to lose too much in the way of light. Just don't want them to be too yellow and look like halogens if I went with 4300k. Me being awkward again lol
This is what I have now in terms of colour( would say they are as bright as standard halogen even though they are rated at 100w to overcome blue filter)
Mine are 4300k mate so come and have a look
I saw them the other day, just wanted to see them in reflector lenses. Lol
I might have a pair of 5000k spare bulbs and an odd ballast to see what they look like in one of your headlights mate, I'll have a look on Sunday as I'm out all day Saturday
i prefer 6000 tbh not too blue and not to white just right
ive got 8k in mine, slightly blue but i like them, not sure whats in the xenons yet though
Thanks for the pics. They have made up my mind. Are yours 35w though? and h7 bulbs or
h7r? as the beam patern looks decent too.Very bright if they are. I used to have 6000k in my old mondeo but I favour brightness and don't want the blue. Also don't want to go down the route of led sidelights as I'm happy with what I've got. Will get some ordered.. And if you come across the 5000k one Chris I can always do a comparison. Cheers guys
personally, for reflector headlights, i'd go with the H7R's. ive never used them personally, but they are meant to reduce glare, and you are less likely to be had by the plod or whatever then.
Yeah I've used both in the past and the h7r's have a ggood beam pattern like the halogens where as the normal ones ttend to be all over the place
lol
What are people's thoughts on these
