M32 gearbox stiff

Hi.. the gear changing is quite stiff.. but when car is driven for abit 20+mins it gets better. Car was due for gearbox oil change to be done in a few months could it be that.. also to note when the power steering pump was changed.. gears got alot stiffer wasnt going in.. but the mechanic adjusted something by the pump-gearbox end.. that got rid most of stiffness.. but since then started to get worse. Before the pas pump was changed i did notice gear stiffness ,

so i think could be either the linkages or just change the oil anyhow?

I think the first option would be to get the gearbox oil changed and put some good stuff in while your doing it

The M32 needs thinner oil than the stuff VX use, there's either Redline MTL, Amsoil MTF, Fuchs Sintofluid or the best and most expensive of the bunch being Millers CRX75W/90NT Full synthetic transmission oil at £70 for 5 litres.

Had a gearbox oil change.. with oem stuff.. doesnt seem to be a change. Will notice it more on cold to verify it.
Could it be the linkage.. next thing to do?

unclip the ball joints off the box then move the gearstick if its still stiff then the cables may be seizin up ?? just a thought , sure its cables on them

I changed mine to Fuchs sintofluid a few month ago, when cold my gear changes are stiff when warm it's perfect though

Im changing back to gm oil in the next few weeks as it was fine when using this

Dnt know if i posted this.. but when pas pump was changed the gears was really stiff.. the mechanic did sumit in the engine bay near pas pump.. think it could be the cables.. so made it much better going into gear.. but has lost the nice soft going into gear since then.
