I'm trying to locate the fuel tank vent valve on my zafira b with the z16xep engine. As I get bad mpg and smell of fuel in the cab and have the fault code saying it has a problem and came across this connector which isn't attached to anything. It is attached behind air pipe and the wire disappears through bulkhead

Just had a look at one at work. It seems to be spare for something else. It is not connected on this one too.

i have a spare plug too mate. loads of people have it

They tend to make a fairly generic loom and then throw them in all variants, could be for a fluid level sensor or something similar, I wouldn't worry about it

ive got wnough fault codes to worry about chris without this so won't worry me one bit
