Upgrading speakers in my vxr

Alright guys I have only had the car a week and the sound system is already doing my head in! Any suggestions guys?

Ideally replace the H/U as the standard VX aren't that great (aside from the CDC40) other than that, a good set of Front components and perhaps a sub

I hate taking out the rear trims for any reason. I would upgrade the fronts and leave the rears stock/oe. But that's me. You may be better at trim work. Lol
