    Jay's Arden Astra GSi Progress Thread

    Well havent managed to clean it yet but got a few pics over the weekend.

    I bought the car off a Vauxhall enthusiast, he also owned a mk2 cavi, a burg with 1300miles garaged lol.
    Hes had it from new just him and his wife.

    58k FSH
    Cambelt & Water pump changed at 51k
    Recent VXR turbo

    Got a few mods but changing the wheels to snowflakes in next few weeks.
    Brand New 17" Calibre Vintage Alloys (BBSs' cheaper version) £450 new without tyres
    FK coilovers and droplinks
    HID kit
    Euro Rear Lights
    Baileys Dump valve
    Scorpion Cat-back
    TX panel filter

    spec list is as follows:
    full tx boost pipe kit
    eds sidemount intercooler
    full miltek turbo back
    Cdti airbox conversion with bmc filter
    vec c intake pipe
    Rnd motorsport custom map

      Got this Dash wrapped in carbon fibre aswell along with everything else to the handbrake.
      Are they easy to change?

      Centre console shouldn't be too hard to swap would like nice all carbon

      Has the Precat been decatted? If not then do it, normal cat I'd do what nick and I done and get a toyosports sports cat section

      Fit an intercooler and you can put stage 2 on it easily

      Oh and if that's the engine bay that's not the cdti airbox its a factory one, the cdti box allows deletion of the crossover for a more direct intake to the turbo

      Cheers Todd, yeah im well happy with it to be honest ive always wanted one so when it came up with the mileage and being one owner i was like sod it lol and yeah shouldnt be that hard just did a search for a guide on google and cant find alot

      nice looking gsi i love them wheels, the centre console is easy to change if you need any help drop me a pm

      Lol cheers Rob edited my post now i didnt know it was standard, And as to the precat i dont think its been done, thinking of keeping the system scorpion so ill be saving for their precat pipe, and you say get a sports cat section? can i not get decat section and put standard cat section in for mots? Whats the best cooler to go for?

      I like the wheels mate, i like them on the gsi just dont at the same time prefer flakes lol.. its different with em on the gsi.. nice one bud i will pm you if i get stuck lol
