To tell if your Precat is gone, look below and to the right slightly at the pipe directly off the turbo, if its shiny and cylindrical then its a decat, otherwise its dull, has a heat shield and is standard( also an unusual shape)

With the main cat, if you take it out it'll be stupidly loud, but if you want it gone then go for it. I fitted a sports cat as I can't be arsed to mess about near mot time
yeah its standard.. ill order a precat soon as funds are up again lol.. nah i dont want it ridiculous loud its loud enough as it is! cheers bud

Well was up bright and early and with some decent weather i thought id change the dreaded centre console.. turns out its easy as pie!!! took me just under an hour following a guide off google lol, had to add a few things in myself to help me along the way.. anyway pics......

      Before

Got the glovebox out and HU out

Probably the most awkard part was getting the heater control module out, clips were a right S**T bag to get out and obv theres 4 so once i got one up i wedged it with a screw lol

Then unclipped the heater vents and changed the GID onto the wrapped one.

      Refitted the main console

Refitted ash tray, 12v output and Gear stick surround & peice under the handbrake.

Only thing i havent got wrapped is the traction control peice so left that out for time being as its easy to clip back in, think im going to spray it satin black after alot of rubbing down.

final finshed photos, looks alot better than the tatty grey that was in IMO

      C+C

Looks nice, glad to see you kept the weave the same direction on it all, it makes it look bad when its all done different ways
