Remap?

Fitted the decat the other day, car now can't make it's mind up whether its got a nice power increase or doesn't want to boost properly

Is it telling me to reset the ecu or get a remap?

You've effectively altered the parameters of the system now and the ECU is confused as to what's going on, i'd try the reset first as the cheap option and then go get it remapped anyway to make the most of the mods you've done, is it main decat or precat decat you've done ?

The precat decat alters the back pressure that the turbo sees and by decatting it, you've reduced the back pressure so it's going to cause boost problems...

Would I get these simular problems with what I've done by means of gutting the dpf out of the 1.9.the turbo whines and a fluttering sound when boosting now.

You probably will mate, its always better to get your mods mapped in once they're done to avoid any further problems
