Think I might invest in one , any links
Cheer's Chris, how would i remove my current mirror,is there a clip or something? Think i'm 99% sure i'm going to do this mod,how hard was it to split the auto dim mirror and what's the best way to split it ?
Obviously having a standard mirror i dont have the cover big enough to go over a Auto dim mirror so was thinking of cutting back the lugs that are on it to reduce the width of it and split my original cover and use that.
Do you think that'll work ?

Long story short, the SRi mirror fits higher up the screen than a sight and light mirror, mine sits half way on to the original SRi bracket but is secure enough, you need the proper cowling to go around the mirror because the base of the sight and light mirror has a large footprint due to it having to incorporate the bracket for the rain sensor. If you leave it on view, it looks terrible to be honest.

you still need a astra specific cowling as the Vectra one doesn't fit...
Aaaaahhh so i'd need something like this then

Thats for a Vectra mate...
Vectra cowling fits the Astra non sight and light windscreen perfectly, it's what I had until I changed the windscreenhttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-V...item3ccbb36d2e
