That detailing day at Andy's place was epic
Quick Update;
Decided to do the sound proofing in my doors after hearing the difference it makes on Lukes car at Trax
After first attempting to do it myself and failing I decided to pop to Gairo's to let someone who knows what he is doing sort it out
Used "Anit-Vibe" one roll per door.
First the door card was taken off;
And then Chris set about doing the door
Nice job around and behind the speaker hole
Door plastic back on
And then the second door;
Makes a massive improvement to the sound And no more door rattle etc
Got an Amp on order aswell to boost the speakers from 50W to the rated 80W RMS so should be epic
And will then sound proof the boot floor for the sub aswell
Look what the postman brought
Has that reduced road noise at all?
It will have helped slightly James but to reduce it considerably would add in excess of 30 - 40 kg of weight as you 'd need to do the entire car for it to be beneficial...
would that be any good with standard speakers
Just as a quick follow up on this I can confirm it has made a huge difference to the sound quality
Some updates soon hopefully, as will get the new Amp and powercap fitted and then my HID fog kit
Update;
Popped round to see Gairo and Smiffy today to have my HID Fogs fitted
The kit, from eBay;
With Oscar of course keeping an eye on the work;
Front bumper off;
Chris's very neat wiring of the plugs;
Ballasts all tucked away;
Bumper back on;
And a finished shot;
Will get some more later when its dark But they look spot on, match the Bi-Xenons perfectly
1 hour job, proper job, thanks again Chris and Mike
Looking good Adam ,just reminded me that i've got mine to do (same kit as yours),kit's been sat in the shed for a week and a half if not longer
