      Hi Jon,

Are you attempting this feat with opcom?

You need to program everything on the CIM programming menu including immobiliser, then reset the IPC, UEC and REC and re-program the security code to get the immobiliser to function.

This is where it is life in your hands with opcom as I could never get it to reprogram the security code into the IPC.

Hi mate I have tech 2 to complete the task I just need to get familiar with the unit, I was going to follow an op com guide but use tech 2 but it wouldn't download.

Then just go into the CIM programming menu and select Program ECU and it will guide you through, select CIM replaced when it asks on the immobiliser.

Once done reset IPC, UEC and REC.

      Program IPC, UEC and REC

      Calibrate steering angle sensor.

It can clear the crash mode but not reset, it is a program once item with tech2.

Possibly could, but not done one before so wouldn't like to promise so you would be better off using a company.

Right fitted this today but failed Is there any way to reset the cim unit befor I fit it as I dont have the code for it and it wont reset without it, it wasent reset befor it was removed.

I have a squib fault which think is down to the cim as aswell as we tried new airbag and wires but still no joy needs replacing anyway as the horn wont work ect.

      Thanks in advance jon.
