The vavle stem seals can be done at home if you know your way around an engine so take that 800 pound figure out of your head matey, if it is those we'll all muck in and get it sorted

I see 1.9 cdti smoke blue.on cold start alll the time at wrk. Nothin to worry about. But could possibly be a dud glowplug. My van used to snoke blue when glowplugs were down

Use volt meter to test them always replace when engine is hot they are a pain

We soak.our.glow plugs in a substnce but.i cant remember what its called. And if u.put a electrical tester on the live terminal of.your.battery and then tutch.the top of your glow plugs ull notice the difference on the dud one because it wont light up

Mine puffed a bit of blue smoke from cold from day 1 till I sold it. 52k - 99k.
