    Heated seats :)

    Proper buzzing about getting the immaculate Sri leather interior of chris. ( big thanks dude) .
    As far as heated seats are concerned, will I need one of these. It's missing sport button but will mine just sit in its place ?

    Also the looms of pecky and I think ihave correct fuse box on boot.

    Anyone clarify details for me ?

      yuou will need a centre console that can take for buttons if you dont have one already. i think you can change the button not sure though.. also need tech2/looms from pecky and you REC needs the correct pins

      Thanks for the heads up dude, need to track down the trim and switches.
      From looking at the how to guide pictures, i think i have the correct fuse box can anyone confirm for me?

      That's fine Craig.

      You probably won't be able to put swap the button, there are many different combinations of button modules, even if you could get a button to work in there, it may not necessarily be wired to the sport button pin.

      Pecky i am totally confused now about buttons haha ? how will I wire them to the buttons on the dash ?
      in lehmans terms please, little slow you may have to spell it out for me haha

      I need to speak to you about the looms too and prices for tech 2ing it ?

      If you look at the table on this page http://www.diagnostics.org.uk/2010/01/t ... ng-system/ you can see all the different combinations of button module.

      In simple terms, just because you swap a blank for a button with a label, the car has no way of knowing what button it is, as it is not always a sport button in that position. I would pass on that auction and get the right thing from the start.

      Ok thanks for the heads up. Can't see the correct combination on that list of yours pecky, however on gairo how to thread of fitting heated seats he has got a module that I would need? Is this custom ?

      its not custom i have it and its the second one down on the table

      just looked again didnt see that last colum about boot, never seen this button though
