You can do it through the shop http://tech2.guru/shop/decoding/cid-decoding.html although I don't do the firmware on the vectra ones.

Cid in display safe mode
I have a spare colour screen to put into my 55 plate Vectra vxr.
It obviously wasn't divorced from previous car.
Is there anyway I can send this to someone and get it set on delivery mode??
and also update the firmware so I can have the VXR logo when car is switched on???
My car currently has cdc40 opera with GID display
