as long as its a valid code index it wont stop it from working...

normally they are 011 or 013 or similar..

I'm thinking right now, what if gid is not from facelift vectra? Serial number and date of product (2005) indicate that should be...

We do everything what you said,deactivate protection on bid and radio with security code. Swap bid with gid, there is a message "radio safe" blinking, and beeping every few seconds.Then we try to activate protection with code from eeprom, but no chance,message "activation not success" (on croatian, tech2 is on croatian). We check, only ehu and dis are set to present on both units. When we checked data lists, on radio-"status delivery" ; on gid-"ID ok".
And something else, maybe is important, radio and bid have a grey "connector" on the back ang gid have a blue one...
What next, If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful...

it looks like the GID isnt being cleared...

What ident GID is it and are you able to write a file to it? If so then maybe we can manually clear the GID ready for pairing I had to do this the other day because I could not get it to clear for love nor money...

He isn't unmarried from previous car if you mean that...
I am not at electrician service anymore and I don't know can we write file to it...

sorry i'm with you, it wont even pair to the gid using the gid code... brain is a big foggy at the moment...

It should pair as it seems you have done everything correctly... midspeed canbus.. no ecc, no uhp4 and only DIS and EHU set to present on both the DIS and EHU. Only thing i can think of doing it to flash a cleared file to it...

So, there is a way of flashing a clear file to gid?
