OP COM Radio DIVORCING PROBLEMS

Hi guys,

I have problem. I have 2 radios cdc30 and cdc40 not divorced from donors but I have codes for them.
I can't marry or divorce them with OP COM.

I am divorcing my original radio with no problem - I have display safe blinking on screen.
Then I'm connecting one of the radios mentioned above and nothing :
I can't remove code supplied with them, I can't marry my divorced screen with codes supplied
Basically I don't know if its even possible with OP COM .
Please help how to approach this problem.

opcom can be a problem it has limitations as most on here would say. I divorced one of the radios by taking display out and deactivating code that way but its hit and miss ..... the only advice I can give is whats been given to me make sure all mid speed can and variant config are the same then try but tech 2 is best bet but aslong as stuff is all set the same opcom should do it but like I say its tempremental

p.s. very unlikely to get opcom support on here as members prefer gen software and wont support pirate opcom etc ( sorry if yours is genuine )

I have used opcom a lot and have realised its limitations especially as you get to newer cars

Check if security wait time isnt running,
Otherwise should work by description you mentioned in 1st post

Check also for DTC in both - display and headunit modules. Clear them all, if there are any. Then if all MID-speed canbus options are matching between display and headunit and security wait time isn't running, you shouldn't have any problems with coding. I used OP-Com as well and I did this procedure couple of times without any issues.
