I'm running win 10 64bit so won't be able to DL
What I'd like to see is diagrams of where the infotainment (HU & screen, in my case BID) link too. So with the limited knowledge I have, thing such as batt live / ign switched. Steering controls / CIM. Etc. Basically anything where the infotainment may link too. I know it forms part of the CANbus as Haynes show this, but it doesn't show what else is connected etc.
Anything you can think of really Dom where the infotainment could be being told to turn on either by a manual switch or some kind of module telling it to wake up

here you go screen and radio
    https://mega.nz/#!8BNSVK6L!G6gjFrSj-...OA4-VFE7TdJm1M

not much fuses to pull out
to disconect screen from cim in case if cim is waking it up remove low speed can wires pin 25 and 28 than cim wont comunicate with screen
if any questions about wiring let me know

and forgot to say if ignition logic is disabled radio wont turn on but screen still comes on

    Quick question.
I assume these diagrams are mainly generic? As they look to refer to a CD70 / GID etc.. I guess the wiring is already there though from the factory, but depending on the specific set up, those wires aren't used?

Yes they are vx wirings and are same for all screens radios
If wire isnt present than its not used
In radio wiring you will find couple of wires going to display but they are for cd70/dvd90 video signal and are not used in cd30
If cant figure out something let me know will find it out for you

I've taken the BID out to take a look at it and what I've noticed is that the screen is a Johnson Controls screen (never seen one of these on eBay for a H at all, all are Delphi Grundig) plus the Ident is BR and according to my copy of EPC, the screen that should be in the car is a UA. I doubt this will make any difference at all, just seems weird why this is the case. Are there any key differences between these 2 screens?

I've not had chance to remove those 2 CANbus wires you mentioned Dom, it was getting dark and was chucking it down outside so didn't fancy standing there with the multimeter trying to see if this was the cause. I'll do that next weekend if the weather is any better.
