AFL leveling

Hi,

I have an Astra H (MK5).
Do you know if i buy AFL headlights, AHL control unit and the leveling sensor (from rear axle) the vertical leveling will work?
Or if i don't put the auto-leveling, i will be able to level the AFL headlight from the car as the AHL does? I don't care about cornering of the headlight.

Afl will never level from switch, it's all or nothing.

Having your answer i trade the AFL with AHL.
Now i have AHL control unit with the leveling sensor and 2 AHL xenons.
The problem is that the AHL module is looking as in the picture:

The wires from leveling sensor are going to the AHL module, and the cut ones i think are the ones that go from AHL module to the engine.
Can someone help me with this? Where each wire go?

Hi Pecky, do you know if an AFL module will work on AHL headlamps?

I've never tested so I am not sure. As the levelling motors and wiring are different for AFL and AHL headlights, I would suspect it wont work.

no it wont work. if you do that, you get the error in the speedo and the ahl headlamps will be always trying to level. i've tried that already

if you have an Astra H or GTC, that leveling wont suit in the car. that's the sensor for astra H caravans. all the rest will.
