    Check Control question.

I enabled Check Control on my Astra, but I don't yet have sensors for the coolant and washer fluid level. I thought it was this function which warned about the headlights, brakelights and indicators burning out a bulb. Is this right, or will I still be warned about blown bulbs without the Check Control function being activated?

Yes it will still give bulb warnings, but if you have used opcom to program it, you will have set numerous items to "Invalid", so keep an eye out for any strange issues.

It's a bug in opcom and nothing you can do to correct. You may not see anything wrong, but Tech2 is the only way to put things back as it should be.

Thanks. I can deactivate it for now, until I decide to upgrade my bottles to sensor types. The only issues I have had so far were the Coolant Level and Washer Fluid Level warnings whenever I started the car.
