Astra H CID early versions smaller than 59 can be upgraded with tech2 and sps. Done that once, phone tab appeared ok, no issues.

Yes that works, but it still keeps it as a 2 line KS, you may as well trick SPS into updating with the BN firmware, you just need to know how to force it.

Most probably write eeprom with BN firmware than sps, maybe change vin or vin year, but my client was not interested in 3 line BC. He just wanted the phone tab, job done.

Best is ask seller. Or press settings long, press BC until you see software version. Of course, that button is to be found on the radio. Or use opcom, tech2, mdi.
