cd30 and a gid from zafira

I have just fitted a gid and cd30mp3 from a zafira although everything looks ok the miles remaining is miles out and it wont let me change the code

im just waiting for the security code , do you think if I take them back to unpaired then repair up with my security code it would help, my astra is a 55 plate 1.6 petrol and the zafira was a 1.8 petrol 07 plate

probably needs code index changing... unpairing repairing wont change anything, thats just a security thing..
