Is it possible to fit a GID screen or a CID screen to my car and then retro fit the Bluetooth kit? I thought this was possible but other people have said that the CD30MP3 isn't compatible with the Bluetooth module or the CID screen.

Yes it is possible, Everything on a CD30 works fine with bluetooth and a GID.
With a CID and CD30, you loose the OK and sound menu when used together, bluetooth works fine though.

works great had before cd30 6 button (early one) then cd70 and still worked fine
Nice one! I shall keep my eyes out for a GID and a retrofit kit. Looks like I missed the retrofit kit that came in stock in the store. Can I program both the screen and the Bluetooth kit with opcom?
I will have a load more kits in the shop soon, just need to make the looms up.

AH brilliant! I will keep my eyes open for them. On another note I have just fitted a GID and cd30mp3 in preparation for the Bluetooth kit. The guy I bought the kit off said that the screen and unit were out the same car and paired so I thought fitting them both to my car means it should work without needing pairing. However with both the headunit and screen fitted it displays the screen safe message. Does this mean they weren't paired? Is there anyway to pair the GID with my CD30? My Vauxhall dealer said if its not been divorced from the previous car it cant be done
Who cares about what Vauxhall say? Get them decoded and reset then pair them again.
Buy eeprom programmer and make dumps
Otherwise post them to pecky
And yes don't listen too much to Vauxhall dealers as most of them doesn't know how to use their own diagnostic tool
In their hands couple of grand tool can do only things what £30 China opcom can
Thanks I will look into the eeprom programmer. I have also messaged Pecky to see if I can arrange to post the stuff to him. I have realised that the dealers can't do much with their tool, if only I lived closer to Pecky
