cd70 display safe

please help
ive purchaced a cd70 head unit as mine was faulty
unfortunately it wasnt divorced from the car first
ive connected it to my colour screen deactivated anti theft with the correct code from donor car
activated anti theft with my cars code
but still says display safe
i have a miniprog if eeprom needs rewriting

what you should have done is to decode your existing radio and screen..

then fit donor radio and go through the programming procedure and use the code for donor radio. this should then pair it up

what i did was flash both eeproms from screen and radio with origional dumps that i read previously

good call. I do that as well sometimes, just flash replacement dumps..

Just make sure software freeze date is the same I have had undesired results doing this
