hi im getting a cd70 with cid but no code can i dump the eeprom in the cid with a test clip or has it got to be unsolider then read thank you for looking

You can try, but be ready to unsolder

ok so if i read it with the clip and then read it after i desolder is there any one that can have a look at the 2 dumps and 1 tell me if thay are the same and 2 can decode it for the pin code

Read with clip first and post dumps here you will get code
If dump will be corrupted or wrong code than only desolder
Sometimes these clips when used in circuits gives wrong readings

Just noticed you got 03 vectra
There will be a problem as they has different wiring for radio and screen than 05+ vectras
You will need to rewire it to make it work

im doing a full cambus install i did the tib to gid last year now doing gid to cid and cdr2005 to cd70
