Question CDC40 removed from Astra fitted in Vectra

Hi i bought a CDC40 with a matched GID off ebay.
After i fitted it i had no BC so using opcom i have discovered its from an Astra H.
Anyone know how i can program the CDC40 to show the BC information?
    Thanks in advance

you dont program the CDC40 you have to program the Display to show the BC functions.

look in the Display, then programming, then variant config. Look for Board Computer.. If you cant see it then you may need to knock the code index up by one.. But if its going from an astra to a vectra the code index will probably be wrong anyway...

think most vectra ones are 11 01

Astra and vectra GIDs are not interchangeable and you will not get the BC information showing.

Sell the astra GID and get a vectra one. (Astra ones are worth more)

Astra ones are in a different frame too so definitely not a straight swap.

There is no code index which gets a vectra screen to work in an astra, and there certainly aren't any vectra code indexes on an astra screen.
