    Instruments.. - Assuming Astra H 2006MY

    PIN 16 - Constant Live
    Pin 27 - switched Live
    Pin 20 & 21 - Ground

Needs someone to confirm as I dont normally deal with Astras..

I found having every module too space consuming, thus the only plugging in what I need... Plus I need a bigger space to work in.!

I have a look see if I can wake it up with a network message or something.

Can analyzer find msg, but with tech2 dont think you will get it working
1st thing what sps does is checks all ecus and makes list of flashable

Ecu direct connection to tech2 gives nothing as tech2 looks for ignition on signal which is can msg and dont forget 120 ohm rule

What else can say if you look at obd pinout and all other can bus then you will find that no msg is submited to obd till they are requested 2 different circuits

Ecu wiring is more dependant from ecu type so you will need couple of connectors wired if gonna do all ecus if fancy take a look at carprog manual there is nearly all what you need

You dont need full wiring except if gonna use sensors
When i had mine what i did
Etched pcb with gnd ign and + and another with can lines
Soldered db9 connectors and terminals for voltage aswell obd connector all that went into pvc box
Than db9 in one end with all connectors needed in other end (for each ecu)
So basicly i had box with pigtails for all modules and was space saver too compared to complete looms

I sort something out mate, that sound like what I was working on but just multiple pin outs to connect up different stuff, I might finish that off and have a play.

      Vectra C 1.9 CDTi
I would like to experiment with this on my Vectra C 1.9 CDTi facelift.
Can anyone help me with the setup please? Which ECU programmer would you recommend?
Could someone share me a generic Vectra VXR bin file to use for comparing my CDTi eeprom once lifted?
Any help will be a big help. Thanks
