    vxr needle sweep

    hi im new to forum just need some advise,i drive a astra h sri cdti 150 and want to put vxr dials in my astra,i now pecky can sort it for me,but all i want to now is can i send my vxr clocks to pecky,so he can do his coding for the needle sweep and milage and sort the revs as they are differant on a vxr.any help please..........many thanks

      You can't "sort the revs" as there is nothing to sort. The revs read correctly on either clocks, it's the position of the red line which is wrong as a diesel red lines before that shown on the clocks.

      If you fit petrol clocks into a diesel, you have to accept that the revs only show part way around the dial, although the value is correct.

      many thanks pecky for all your help,one more thing the vxr clocks i have are out of a 09 astra vxr, will it fit the electical plug be the same as my 56 sri dial electrical plug on the back of the dials.................

      hi when pecky has sorted my replacement vxr clocks out can i just fit them in my astra sri cdti and they will work ok

      They need programming for the imobiliser or you may have issues. The mileage will also need programming
