cd70 issues

Have installed cd70 in zafira b. Seems OK but outside temp reads -40. Interigated using opcom and it thinks it's a astra h. Any way of reprogramming the unit

Change code index and audio index
But i think you problem is in elsewhere as display should show temp without cd70

Did you changed radio only or screen too?
Any works done at front end of car like bumper off ?

It's all linked to the display. If I put old display and new head unit all works fine. Just need advice on how to change the coding of the display

I know that they are linked
Ussaly these problems occur when screen is from vectra
Astra & zafira uses same electronics so problem shouldn't be there

But give try you must change code index of screen
What type screen have you installed?
And can you give a part number of screen to disclose wrong screen

Screen is cid. Will try again. Spoke to vauxhall garage who said I need to deselect everything code it then reselected and code again.

For cid code index is
With bc 005
Without bc 004
Program can settings according to cars spec
Program variant config
And enable security in radio if not already done and you know cid code
There isn't any option to select for temperature

How cd70 front panel looks flat or slightly out in middle?
Did you got cd70 and screen together?

Cd70 is flat and they were purchased together. When interigating cd70 it has various audio settings for astra h.

the cd70 has no impact on the issues, its down to the display.. press and hold the settings button and get into the secret screens...

have a look at the coolant temp and see if it reads 73 degrees with the ignition on... If it does the screen is incompatible with the zafira..

Thats what im tryed to get
If cd70 flat front and bought together i it could be from vectra/signum
If so than no luck as vectra uses different sensors than zafira or astra
