Is that the fuel pump coming out the top of the tank? Is it possible to check the fuel level indicator with op com is it a separate part

Not sure if it can be tested never tried and yes thats a fuel pump
If will remove pipes just mark where was what as one is return pipe

Miss fire seems to be resolved by using premium diesel
