Retrieving security code CD70 and CID

Hi, newbie here.

Been reading slit on this forum about EEPROM dumps to get the security code from CD70's and CID screens. I've just bought a paired CD70 & CID that didn't come with there code and I would like to change it to my car code.

Am I correct in my assumption that a chip has to be removed in order to get the dump file and it's not something opcom can do?

You could have just asked me over in the other place lol

Yes, need to pull the eprom out of the display or radio (display is easier to get at) and then use a eprom programmer to pull the bin file.. Then post it up here and one of us will get the code from it..
