Vaux Vivaro CD30 MP3 Aux to CD30 Problem

I had problem with my Vivaro CD30 Mp3 Aux when it got wet inside and shorted out so have purchased a second hand CD30 (No MP3) complete with paired display out of a corsa from a local electronics shop.

The radio works perfectly except it is not back lit and the display does not show the temperature.

If I refit refit my old display then the temperature shows but as it's not paired tou just have the 'safe' warning on screen so is useless.

I have spoken to the shop I got it from and he says it is a common problem and the only way round it buy a new head unit and display from Vaux.

Can anyone help?

Decode new radio and program to car that will leave you your original screen. Your new screen looks like isnt for vivaro as one member had similar problem and screen was from vectra. If you doesnt mind can you post part number from screen to check from what it comes.
