It just needs programming to the car, should be a simple task for anyone who uses tech2.
Code index needs setting as per http://www.diagnostics.org.uk/help/s...d-Info-Display to enable trip computer.
I currently have a TID screen in my 2006 Zafira 1.6 that does not allow the display of any trip computer information.
I would like to change this to a BID screen and enable the OBC so have purchased a Tech 2 reset one (Part No: 13275085) from an 07 Astra 1.9 diesel.
Can anyone adivse on how i now set this up with Tech 2 to work in my Zafira?
Thanks in Advance.

It will be my first time using Tech 2 so a step by step of the process would be much appreciated if you could.
Don't want to mess up.
Sorry, but I don't want to sound unhelpful, I don't give out guides.
Tech2 isn't something to be messed with as it is a pro level tool, as such the user should know what they are doing without guides.
If your first time,I suggest you find someone who knows what they are doing and get them to talk you through it, you will learn more that way.

That's no problem Pecky - I understand. It's my mates Tech 2 that he uses on saab's but he also has the required Vauxhall card so he'll have a fair knowledge of the system.Sorry, but I don't want to sound unhelpful, I don't give out guides.

Will the fact the screen I'm fitting comes from a diesel astra cos me problems in my petrol Zafira?
No issues at all, its the code index that deals with all the sensors and vehicle type. That's why I gave the link for the list.

But the screen part No i have (13275085 ) doesnt show on that list - how do i get the correct code index for it to work in my zafira?
And does fuel tank sensor type matter?
Fuel sensor does not matter on the zafira, it only matters on the Astra.
Tech2 will only allow valid code indexes for the display you have. Try either of the ones with Board Computer, the one tech2 allows will work just fine, it will say not valid if the screen doesn't want to accept it.
