ecus and loom swap out

still having no joy with getting my car running
seems the ecu has been changed before because it has a different vin number stored
what will i need from donor car so everything will be married and no need for reprogramming
i am also going to change engine bay loom

So what happens when you try to start it lock symbol on dash?
What you have changed and what not?
Does your ecu or other modules have code for them?
