have you used a 'mechanics ears' device

Was looking to buy a stethoscope today and came across a an electronic stethoscope. So I started to research the electronic stethoscope and then came across a really good device - 'mechanics ears'. This device looks really really useful and has me intrigued. Has anyone used this device? If so, how effective do you find it? There seems to be many of these devices available from the little research I have done on the net, but couldn't really find anything cheap. I would though only buy a cheaper device if users have tried and tested these devices and can recommend them - if a cheaper device is available. So please help out and share your thoughts.
