Tech2 can update some of the CID displays, never looked TBH, I've only used it to update the old KS displays to get the additional code indexes for later cars.

Never seen the firmware files around outside of tech2

Sorry to steal the thread but im wondering what is the best CID model to go for . I've just managed to source a CD70 But im a little confused . Iv had a look at the info pecky has provided , and by the looks of things I need either a BN or BF?? But can I go for any other models that can be updated via software . I'm really trying to find the best and most technologically advanced CID

BN is the most common, so just look for one of those and you can't go wrong.

You need the CID, RGB Lead and a fakra GPS antenna.

Fakra GPS antenna around £8 from ebay, RGB lead around £60-70 from vauxhall. They never come up on their own for sale anywhere and when they do they are around the same price, so VX it is.
