Tech2 can update some of the CID displays, never looked TBH, I've only used it to update the old KS displays to get the additional code indexes for later cars.

Never seen the firmware files around outside of tech2

Sorry to steal the thread but im wondering what is the best CID model to go for . I've just managed to source a CD70 But im a little confused . Iv had a look at the info pecky has provided , and by the looks of things I need either a BN or BF?? But can I go for any other models that can be updated via software . I'm really trying to find the best and most technologically advanced CID

BN is the most common, so just look for one of those and you can't go wrong.

It is aftermarket, or is a New roof aerial and wiring, which will cost £80-100.

Fakra antenna can be fitted out of sight and does the same thing for £8

It all depends if they are divorced or not. If they are coded differently, then no you can't fit them. If either the display or CID is divorced and you know the code you can fit, if they are both divorced you can fit.

If you don't know any of the codes, you can't fit.
