Fog Lights - Wire between ipc and light switch

Hi,

I have just retrofitted the fog lights and change the light switch etc.

Cant get the fogs to work, on my tech2 it says fog light switch open circuit etc

Front what I can work out there should be a cable from that switch to the ipc for the front fog lights on pin 28 on the ipc

does anyone know what pin it should be on the switch? I have pins 1, 3 and 8 with no wires in?

I may just try each pin tomorrow when I get chance just need to confirm this is wired directly to the ipc?

Oh just wanted to point out that the fog lights work on when I test them using the tech2 aswell

Just incase anyone need to know the answer to this you need to make sure you have a cable from pin 8 on the lights switch going to pin 28 on the speedo (ipc)

I did the retrofit of the fog lights on my van, run new cables from uec to fog lights, replaced the light switch to one with front fog lights, tech2 it all but it still did not work and that was because the wire above was missing
