yep, but the decoder isnt looking in the right place for it...

If theres a choice of two locations then you have to look for a difference between the two bin files which is repeatable every time.. You then set the program to look for the difference and determine which location to use for the code... If the bin file is bad or been played with then the 'lookup' would be thrown off...

File is fine, Software checks it is an insignia dump by using the VIN as it would have it stored when the file is read and a virgin dump would not have a code.

Because that dump has had the VIN cleared it fails that and because of that it spits out rubbish.

If you add an insignia VIN to the dump it works fine.

    Code is 7207

Ok, so it means that Insignia IPC can be installed on another car withot resetting?
I had read it again, I can confirm that the bin wasn't modified.

As above. It will need to be reset with 7207 before programming it into the vehicle.

OK, if I put it on my car that has the security code 7207, I tried to program this IPC on it with MDI and got programing failed, it shows not programmed.
From what I know this has been removed from a totaly damaged car and has not been reseted.

Does seem odd. So you have bought this from another vehicle... The code was known or unknown to you on this other vehicle?

Was it sold as tech2 clear / reset?

And then you tried to program it to your car using YOUR car code of 7207? and it then failed...
