omg, thats very very weird, pulls a different number each time lol

only on that bin though, others are fine
the bin file looks slightly different, no Vin No. or such and doesnt pull it from 8a... looks like its getting data from last two bytes of 7a, 7b maybe?
I will try to programm it tomorrow, and update with the result.
the decoder should pull it from where the code is. But whatever the decoder is using as a 'tell' to work out which location it should use is getting confused by the .bin file.
I suspect the .bin file is either not fully correct or been played with..
The code can be in either location I have had 5or 6 insignia IPC and all have been in one of the two 50/50 for witch
Do you need me to retry reading the eprom? and upload it again?
I have tried to program the ipc with my vin code with MDI and also with op-com so that should be the problem not showing the vin.
yep, but the decoder isnt looking in the right place for it...
If theres a choice of two locations then you have to look for a difference between the two bin files which is repeatable every time.. You then set the program to look for the difference and determine which location to use for the code... If the bin file is bad or been played with then the 'lookup' would be thrown off...
I see I don't have your program so didn't know that
