Evening, I am looking at fitting ambiant lighting. I only need 2 smds for what I'm doing but I need to make up a loom to connect to a 12v supply and ground.
What I think is this
12v - resistor - smd -smd - ground
Is this right?

Where you gonna fit them in footwell?
For footwell lights i have done some with 3mm leds 4 on each side and resistors for each led in case if one fails got 3 working and its easy to fit them
They are for the roof. The ambiant lighting lens are already in place. I just don't know where to wire the 2 wires for leds. Any ideas?
You mean 2 lenses one each side of center light, if its that you can take power from button pcb as there allready leds fitted just measure voltage to make sure there is 3volts but should be
The only switch is for a roof blind in the centre. The roof lights are above each door as there is a full length panorama roof. The switch has 4 pins so if I find the correct wires could I connect to the wiring?
Ahh you got panorama roof, well test with multimeter to see what you got and possibly you will be able to connect
Ehh thats shame ok will check and let u know you got astra?
Actually a Ford s max but none of the Ford forums are much good so still around even though I no longer have my zafira
Alright than defo you need multimeter
