No power to AC, Astra mk5 h.

Hi, could someone advise me on what to do, I have an Astra mk5 h, I had it regassed and there is no cold air, a mechanic has checked for error codes and I believe nothing came up. The compressor is not engaging, he then checked and there is no power going to the compressor. How do check the wiring for current. He has checked the fuses and that's all fine. What else could it be? Please anyone help. Thanks.

I would check the fuse in the fuse box in the engine compartment, mine was exactly the same no power had it all regased etc still not working then i checked the fuses again and it was blown and replaced it and its been freezing ever since

i think it was fuse 20 i have outlined it on a pic i found hope this helps

Thanks, Vauxhall had a quick look and even they were saying there is no electrical feed going though it. They changed the fuse for me but that didn't work. It must be something else.

Vauxhall said that they want the car in and will look in to it in more detail and check every wiring, etc. They said it even could be the ecc

Please don't say sorry. I am really grateful for you taking time out to reply to my post. Is there any other fuses in the passenger side I should check?

Check relay with rec k11 without rec k8 and regarding fuses there can be 3 variants 1. With rec check fuses 32 & 20, 2. Petrol without rec fuse 17, 3. Diesel without rec fuse 33 & and fuse 50 in boot, does they checked if system holds pressure and isnt leaking? If pressure is too low than that could be your problem
