Yes but system must be checked first for leaks/pressure lost and if there is leaks or pressure has dropped compressor wont switch on
And if pressure is low or even there isnt pressure no dtc is stored so diag tool wont show up anything
If I am not mistaken, it cannot be checked for leaks because the AC is not coming on
It should be checked before recharging in short how my mate did it he bought zaffy ac wasnt working what we did checked with tech2 and it was low pressure than we just filled system with air to pressure what needed and left it for few hours after that checked it again pressure was dropped down so next steps was to find whats leaking bit of fairy and water and discovered radiator was leaking replaced it checked again with air one connection was leaking fixed that checked again all was fine only than it was filled
take your car to kwikfit they have a machine that carryouts out pressure test and re gases the ac, and if it don't fix it they don't charge, takes about an hour and it only costs £50
Thanks mate. Might try that.
Any results just to keep some info for future visitors
Had the car regassed again, approximately 400g, and my AC is working again. Pecky spotted that my vehicles condenser might be casing the problem because the bottom part is damaged.
